Achieve Your Full Potential with Maikel Bailey Executive Coaching

How Long is Each Coaching Session?

Coaching Sessions

Each coaching session is 60 minutes. The session may occasionally run shorter or longer.

Coaching can be done over Zoom or the phone.

A recording for your review can be done and is highly recommended.

Availability Between Sessions

I am available between sessions for questions and clarification on assignments.

I can be reached by phone, text, or email.

These between session contacts do not count as sessions. They are part of the support for your coaching.

How Often Do We Meet?

The coaching sessions are designed so that we meet weekly. A weekly cycle works well because it gives you time to complete your assignments, practice new skills and habits, take action on your goals, and see progress on a daily and weekly basis.

Is Your Approach One-Size Fits All or Is It Customized to My Needs

Each coaching journey I offer is unique in itself. Now, add to that your uniqueness. That is where we begin.

While I have a path, a process to take my clients through whatever the coaching journey, I recognize everyone is different. They come from different backgrounds and experiences. They begin their coaching journey from their unique place in life, and will proceed forward at their own rate and way. Each person will have their unique challenges different from others.

My job as your coach is to know the territory of change and growth well enough I can help you traverse that territory and help you take on and overcome whatever challenges we come across. In that process, you will learn a lot about yourself - things you now know and some things you didn't. We will help you establish new healthy, supportive habits that build your confidence in who you are, courage to achieve new goals, and a new clarity in how to move your life forward with greater joy, satisfaction, and success.

Assignments and Accountability

Each week, I will give you assignments to complete. During that week, you are to complete them as best you can. I never expect "perfect," just the best you can do that week. Next time we meet, we discuss the assignments, any questions you have, and their application to your life. This is the process of learning and growth, moving beyond your comfort zone, creating new habits, and achieving new goals.

What is the Duration of the Coaching Journeys?

The length of a coaching journey depends on the individual and the journey they feel is right for them. Coaching journeys can range from three months to 12 months. A few clients take on longer coaching journeys.

The minimum journey is three months (12 weeks). Why 12 weeks? Studies on change in human beings note that it takes about three months for a significant change to occur. During those 12 weeks, a number of predictable smaller changes will take place that indicate the progress they are making.

It is interesting to see that we have four seasons each year. Each season is three months. Also, businesses are set up in quarterly (three months) reports.

Support and Encouragement

Throughout your coaching journey, I am there to give support, encouragement, and recognition for the actions you take and the progress you make. I will also help you find other genuine sources of support and encouragement from the associates in your life. We all require support from others just as we need other people, and they need us. The key is finding genuine, enduring support that comes from others without hidden agendas or strings attached. We all require authentic attachments for our health and well-being. We want and require good, helpful, and encouraging companions in our life journeys.

Life is a Journey of Many Journeys

As the saying goes, there is a time and a season for all things.

What was important to you in one phase of your life is no longer relevant. High priorities at one stage of your life are left behind as others energy.

Many people struggle through these changes only to look back and wish they had known more, made different choices, and would love to have a redo.

Part of this process is just life. Other times, getting stuck in patterns and habits can slow us, feed our doubts and fears, and even sabotage us. Not having an objective view of ourselves or our family and associates can make it difficult to know what is going on, what we are not seeing, and what is holding us back.

That's where I come in. With over 28 years of coaching and training, there's much I can add to your journey, no matter where you are in life. Getting a coach can sound silly, superficial, and unnecessary.

But if you're stuck, you're stuck. If you're not getting the clarity of traction you want, then there's nothing wrong with getting some help. At least find out if there are alternatives that can help you accelerate your growth and journey and get to a much better place.
